September 10 - Altamaha Reunion #21 - Conway, New Hampshire

Frankie traveled here from Colorado...he gave Dad this really neat "shadow box" with Dad's separation papers, medals and a flag that flew over Iraq with Frankie. It was so thoughtful. He wore his Air Force Uniform and gave each shipmate a medal from his collection. He also saluted all of the sailors. You could tell that this meant so much to these men who served many years ago in WW2. Thanks Frankie.

I'm finally getting back to this blog page...I really do love keeping it up to date. We've been busy with the reunion last week...it was a great gathering with Dad's WW2 shipmates from the USS Altamaha. There is so much more to tell you all...this is a start...with promises to get caught up again. Here we are at Theresa/Earl's lovely home in Conway ... we took a trolly ride over there one afternoon for a toast of champaigne and a "gorgeous" view of Mt. Chocora....hope I spelled this right....What a great time.
