January 20 - Visit to Summit with Mom and Christine....

I stopped in for a quick visit on Wednesday...it had snowed all day Tuesday on Mom's birthday, so I stayed close to home. When I went into the craft room, Christine was sitting there .. "talking" to Mom with the Dragon software installed on the computer at Summit...it's great for Mom. We had a little cake too. Christine said they sang happy birthday to Mom on Tuesday. Mom really loves having the folks at Summit "talk" to her with this wonderful new "Dragon Software"....thank you to everyone at Summit!!!! Thanks to everyone in our family for helping with this!!!

January 21 - Happy 47th Birthday Brian Brendan Miskell...more goofy photographs...

We had a nice little hike up Sabaday falls (spelling???)....Brian and Frankie got to hike over the river...it was a great time to hang with the family....we got to re-do our family photograph from 40 years ago....what fun!!!

Jape and Brian are having a treat at Ben and Jerry's in North Conway....it was a "gorgeous" day to be outside...

We're "hanging" with the local Bear at Zeb's..... what a bunch of "hairballs" for sure!!!!

What fun we had that weekend...our whole family was there...except for John and Deb....I think John was traveling to the Far East....

Here is a cute video from our family gathering in Conway in May...to celebrate Bobby's finishing of the new "shower"....I love this little movie of my brothers (and some nephews too) heading out for a "day trip" to the mountains....you guys had a blast that weekend ha? Doesn't Tommy look like a "cool guy" with his "Party Van".......Love you Bri....

January16 - Birthday Party for Mom/Granny....80 years "young"

Today - January 19th is Mom's 80th Birthday. Sandra must have taken this photograph Saturday of this "group" gathered in Southbridge to celebrate. Friday - January 15 - Summit with Christine, Mom and Lance

Mom and Christine look so happy...they are psyched that the "Dragon" software is all "up and running"!!!
I had Lance with me too...he had fun while we had our meeting at Summit...I let him bring in his little DVD player and he watched Scoobie Doo...

Friday - January 14 - Summit visit to get the "Dragon" speech software working!!!

Look how happy and excited Christine and Mom look!!! With much help from Theresa, Jape and Brian...we got this "up and running" on Friday. Mom is so happy...she yelled "it's working"!!! Christine said (and Dragon types what she says)..."we have a lot of catching up to do...we can finally have conversations"!!!!! It's great to be able to have a spontaneous conversation with Mom...instead of having to write or type everything....

Christine is going to have lunch with the director of Summit Eldercare....and she wants to show him this product. She said she's going to see if Summit can get a lap-top so they can use it in other rooms at Summit. That'd be great.....
Thanks Christine and everyone at Summit for being so helpful and kind to us...especially Mom!!!

January 3 - Gathering at Deb and John's to celebrate Ashley and Adrian "engagement"
