Bobby "Nadin" Miskell turns 51 today....Can't believe it!!!

I can't believe little "Nadin" is 51 years old today....I put a few photographs together that pretty much describe his personality...Bobby is the funniest guy I know!!! Here he is on the Mt. Washington boat on Lake Winnipisaukee, NH...his buddies were on the shore "toasting the Altamaha WW2 Vets".....what fun!!!
Here is a group of us on the ship!!! It turned out to be kind of a nice day afterall...It was raining horrible in the morning and then it stopped just in time to board the Mt. Washington Ship. Great Day!!!
With Tommy and Gordon McBride - another Altamaha ship mate of dad's. Check out his shirt...."Bobweiser -- King of Bobs"..that's my brother Bobby!!!!
With his adorable son Ryan..."Little Nadin"..... The folks - especially the Captain and Mates on this ship were so kind to all of the Altamaha Ship Mates....they even let one of the Altamaha Captains "Captain" this ship....what fun!!!!
Ryan helped Mom get up to the upper deck...with them here is Bob Woodward...another shipmate of Dad's. Happy Birthday Bob!!!

September 30, 2008 - Lance Michael Archibald starts Pre-K School.....Bristol Central High School....can't believe it..

It seems like we were all gathered around at U.Conn Hospital for the birth of Lance and here he is starting Pre-K school at Bristol Central....Kathy and Brian teach at the school so they'll be able to check up on him. His "PaPa" Dave Archibald drives him....he took this adorable photograph before leaving for his first day. I can't believe he's already 3 + years old!!!! Isn't he the cutest?????
Lance on his birthday July 8, 2005.
I decided I'd start updating the blog again today...especially with this famous event!!!

September 10 - Altamaha Reunion #21 - Conway, New Hampshire-Page 2

A few more "group" shots of all of us at the Banquet. Bobby, Tommy, Ryan, Sammy, Theresa, Earl, Mom and Dad with Frankie. More photographs later....

September 10 - Altamaha Reunion #21 - Conway, New Hampshire

Frankie traveled here from Colorado...he gave Dad this really neat "shadow box" with Dad's separation papers, medals and a flag that flew over Iraq with Frankie. It was so thoughtful. He wore his Air Force Uniform and gave each shipmate a medal from his collection. He also saluted all of the sailors. You could tell that this meant so much to these men who served many years ago in WW2. Thanks Frankie.

I'm finally getting back to this blog page...I really do love keeping it up to date. We've been busy with the reunion last week...it was a great gathering with Dad's WW2 shipmates from the USS Altamaha. There is so much more to tell you all...this is a start...with promises to get caught up again. Here we are at Theresa/Earl's lovely home in Conway ... we took a trolly ride over there one afternoon for a toast of champaigne and a "gorgeous" view of Mt. Chocora....hope I spelled this right....What a great time.

July 19 - Lincoln loves Ants....

Lincoln had fun in our driveway trying to get this ant to "stay still" while he played with "him or her".....nothing like little kids not being "afraid" of anything....Lincoln is fascinated by this ant! I'm trying to get back to blogging.....back home this week from a wonderful Altamaha Ship Reunion in "gorgeous" Conway, New Hampshire....more stories and photographs later...promise!!!

August 20 - how to feed your cousin....

I was in Bristol for a few days....and the kids got new lunchboxes for "school"....Lincoln was being such a helpful/loving cousin and he helped Abby eat her chips....they are so cute sitting on Lincoln's "big boy bed"!!!

Love these where he's pushing the chip into Abby's mouth...she loves it!!!

I'm going to try to get some stuff on the blog once again...I admit I've been a "bad blogger" 'this Summer...but it's been a busy time for all of us....
